Evan Thomas, Newsweek, on Bush ratings: "Well, if we get attacked again".. |
|
What a TOOL.
He's on Imus right now.
"Well, if something happens, HOPEFULLY NOT SOMETHING TOO BAD"...
Saying that Bush's ratings right now are part of the normal process...the pendulum swings up, it swings down...
Imus isn't buying it, asks what kind of thing would bring Junior's ratings back up and Thomas says "well, if we get attacked again, you know..."
Jee-ZUS.

1. If we get attacked again, he failed, plain and simple. |
|
Anyone that says otherwise, after he has been built up by the media and pundits as The Great Protector is a complicit, treasonous, lying sack of shit.

3. If "we" get attacked again, I'm using Thomas as my personal flak jacket. |
|
Stupid motherfucker. What do you mean "we," white man? You mean, let a bunch more of the more expendable members of society (i.e. everyone but you, pretty much) die horribly, and then, hey! Ratings go up! Fuck you and the pendulum you rode in on, asshat.

8. Right and a lot of people here |
|
would not accept it because it came from the CPB site. But, I really believe there are some Repugs that want another attack to get Bush's poll numbers up. Was there a letter who knows but they are on the same "talking points" just IMHO...

there are others in the media that have suggested this too, as if they are hoping for such an event to save their chimperor's numbers. That so few Americans are outraged by this is tragic. When did the chimp become more important than America?

said the same thing. When asked if bush's ratings could go back up he said no, unless there is another terrorist attack and people rally round him. But he wasn't sure that people would or if even that could do it. Just nothing else would.
It seems most are saying the reason he can't bounce back is because he just tries to change the words and not the truth behind them.
True, I don't watch fox, but it's amazing when a majority of pundits and journalists are seeing his bubble as burst.
We know bush hasn't changed, it's like people (public and press) have taken off some blinders. Where did they get their blinders? Life is easier (if emptier) if you don't see hard truth.
