The Repubs have taken this amendment, stipped out the idea that the US should announce that they have no permanent plans to stay in Iraq indefinitely and stipped out the Dems (7).

Big debate today. Should be really, really good.

3. Bingaman Amendment also up this afternoon.

This restores habeas corpus consideration for prisoners at Gitmo. (Which the Graham amendment, whcih narrowly passed the Senate last week, stripped away.)

Big day in the Senate.

Americans do not see what really is happening in Iraq because lack of news coverage. Go cover it! Obviously at this point your polls are terrible so I would cover any good news cons could get

is up for relection 2006. Bond's son is serving in Iraq so I do give him some slack. Talent(r) on the other hand is running and behind Claire McKascill (sp).

Trying to get rid of the worst aspect of the Graham amendment from last Thursday.
