W.H. "doesn't pay attention to poll numbers, figures do not affect policy"

Poll: Bush approval mark at all-time low

Beset with an unpopular war and an American public increasingly less trusting, President Bush faces the lowest approval rating of his presidency, according to a national poll released Monday. He also received all-time lows in three other categories -- terrorism, trustworthiness and the Iraq war -- in the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll. The White House has said it does not pay attention to poll numbers and the figures do not affect policy.

8. LOL, Sure...if they ignored the numbers they could sacrifice Rove
or at least replace him, Andy Card, Steven Hadley, and a whole host of neocons who are currently contributing to the vortex sucking Bush's legacy into a black hole.

For sure every GOP Congressional 2006 candidate is looking at those numbers and wondering just how loyal to be to Bush.

The WH is beginning to look like a construction project, there are props supporting everything we see.

Hopefully they look this bad on November 1st 2006.

12. Good point here!

For sure every GOP Congressional 2006 candidate is looking at those numbers and wondering just how loyal to be to Bush.

These aren't just 'whiney Democrats' represented by these dire numbers. Unless the WH wants cannibalism to run rampant throughout the GOP, they'd better START paying attention to the numbers.

Or not.

You know.

(VICTORY 2006!!)

9. Proof that the Dems should have been hammering him on Terrorism all along.
It's what Rove does, and it works. Pick something the other guy is strong in and just shithammer it. Once you've broken that, all the has left are things he's weak in.

13. Ah, but his actions tell a different story now, don't they?
Edited on Mon Nov-14-05 05:46 PM by Contrary1
He's way overdue for another vacation. Why hasn't he taken one? Why did he use Veteran's Day to pump up his war on terra message, rather than honoring the veterans? Why has he "unleashed a new attack on Democrats" who say he hyped the war?

Right. He doesn't pay attention to polls. Yet another lie to add to the heap.
