Not sure if they were serious, but it looks like he took money from the big drug corps to write nice things about some of the drugs that have gotten bad press this year too.

And I think you're right about Samatha. I noticed that she hasn't been around much--I wondered if she'd left the show at one point. Severe morning sickness, perhaps? I had a friend who was incapacitated for six weeks, but she was perfectly fine after that.
