18. Why shouldn't he be?
His documentary Fahrenheit 911 was he best selling documentary EVER.. it won something like 19 film awards and its content is STILL relevant today.

He won an Oscar with Bowling with Columbine. He's a best-selling author with many more books and films to come.

He's a good husband and father who, despite living in NYC and traveling extensively, still found the time to give back BIG TIME to his hometown in Michigan with the revenues of "Roger & Me".

He's an honest person who's not afraid to write about, or make films exposing the TRUTH. And for that, Republicans loathe him.

But he's doing what he wants to do.. and he's damn good at it.

So... I don't get the question. Do you mean that just because Republicans hate him with a passion, he shouldn't be happy?

5. Hopefully never. No matter whether Democrats ore Republicans
hold the majority - everybody can run for Congress (as long as he/she is rich enough in this greatest democracy of all... *sarcasm*), but not very many people are really good in the opposition. Also there are people who are very good at criticizing but not as good in constructive work, and I think Moore is one of them. Let him do what he does best!

8. He usually backs third parties, doesn't he?
I think it would be a hoot, especially if he made a film about it.

16. He's in Michigan 1st District
That District is over 30 counties big and has a Dem in that seat anyway. A very safe Dem, Bart Stupak.

Do you have any idea what it's like to work a 30+ county district?? He would be nuts to do it.

21. Hey,
we will continue to need Michael to exercise his expertise making the Traverse City Film Festival the best in world! He has a vacation home on Torch Lake close to Traverse City, Michigan. The first year was a huge success.

22. We're better off with him directing movies.
Any Congressional district which would elect Michael Moore would go Democratic anyway.

We need movie stars for swing districts (Ben Affleck, Martin Sheen, Josh Hartnett), not controversial directors.

26. Let's hope not
Frankly, great guy and all but a political neophyte in the worst way. He really doesn't know how things work. He's been brought into the process by folks who have a real "do it for me" view.

Trust me on this, he's more valuable to us where he is.
