2. Clark plays down Clinton ties

I think that Clark has been modest about his ties to Clinton (the ad with the Medal of Freedom ceremony notwithstanding). Every candidate has tried to position themselves in some way with respect to Clinton (Dean excepted.) But Clark has been mostly quiet, even denying that he has any special connections:
