I love, love, love the "represenative from California" who "has the floor," but, I don't think that ticket would do much. ;)
And Daschle... well... he learned to fight back a bit late, unfortunately.

3. how about here and now? |
|
Lots of energy needed to take over congress in 06! 06 starts now! Do you think the rethugs are wasting time going over 08?
If we lose in 06 it's because we're too busy playing games about 08!
CONGRESS is most powerful and will be needed to hold Bush in check.

5. Not to rain on anyone's parade |
|
but what, other than his commendable actions a few days ago, makes Murtha a good VP candidate? I applaud his position on Iraq but I don't think that's enough to actually put him on the ticket.

That is, if the rational is to put two people who support withdrawal on the ticket.
If not, please explain the rational.

7. Murtha should run for Senate |
|
He should just wait a few years and run for Specter's Senate seat. It would be sweet if Pennsylvania could go from two Republican Senators to two Democratic Senators.

8. He is already 73. Specter's seat will be up again in 2010. |
|
He would be 78. May be there are younger people ready to run in PA.

9. I'm behind Clark for sure, and I certainly love Murtha this week, but |
|
...I think a General/Colonel combo standing for President/Vice-President is a bit more than anyone in this country will stand for.
