Did any of you see that Incredible C-Span Report with Jim Leach & Bass? |
|
AMAZING! What I got out of it was that DeLay and Blount are now being CHALLENEGED by New House Members who think that the ties into Abramoff are a liability.
Jim Leach felt Repugs haven't dealth with the "social network" after Katrina the way they should have....and he had problems with those who "dissed Murtha" and those who voted for the War. Leach appeared to be very "professorial" in his "nuanced" reports about why he might vote...now and again on "selected issues" with our Dems.
Bass..OTOH seemed to be only a few steps left of Tom DeLay...at every step defending him...while thinking that maybe Jim Leach just "might have some good input into the whole situation."
Did anyone else see this "C-Span" debate over "The Future of the Republican Party?"
I'd really like to know if YOU saw what I saw...Yeah...I know...they want McCain to replace Bush ...and I think McCain is SKUZZZ!

But he more or less does have a history as a moderate Republican. It seems that since he moved to the Second District of Iowa, he has veered further right. That's too bad, as he was a sensible guy before he kissed the neocons asses and moved out of here (Iowa First District). But to answer your question, no, I did not see the program you mentioned.
