Not in any order:

Make an honest effort to become the party of ethics and make it so people are unable to say the Dems and Rethugs are no different;

Become the party of civil rights more than ever and return to being the party of the people (which includes labor, health care and the environment);

Revisit the Fairness Doctrine;

Reform voting; reform voting; reform voting;

What I don't want to see them become is like the Rethugs. Don't be hypocrites and flip flop like the GOP has been doing. We need to fortify this new found backbone.
