With the shackles that he has put on the least amongst us this Thanksgiving Day, because of his monstrous deficits, history will not be kind to Mr. Bush, in my opinion. We will not have the resources to help the poor and elderly because Mr. Bush gave it all away to his wealthy friends. We have not seen the worst of this decision yet. When the economy goes further south, who is going to help those in need? We see New Orleans and the Gulf Coast as examples of things to come.
With his decision to invade a country that was not a threat to us, he has destroyed our standing in most of the world. Now, he has to go to Mongolia to get any respect. And who knows what they say behind his back? He has left our military well-paid but in shreds and disrepected by billions around the world. Who will rebuild the military?
Forget US Grant and Richard Nixon and Warren Harding, Mr. Bush will have surpassed them all as the worst president in our nation's history. His only consolation is that he has had a very efficient propaganda machine that has kept enough Party loyalists on his side to keep him from being hanged by the rest of the people.

2. His legacy will be the complete meltdown of |
|
democracy. I think the positive side of his pResidency will result in the formation of a viable third party in our political system. The people are tired of not having any real choice. We need to have alternatives to the corrupt two party system we now have. We can never build a true consensus until we have enough parties to make coalitions necessary.

4. More like "Bush's Aftermath" |

Somebody at DU was talking about *'s legacy being more of an aftermath.
*'s Blunder in Iraq will be the greatest strategic blunder in American history and * will be regarded as the worst president ever.
The big question concerning the national debt is if *'s debt for 8 years will be closer to $4 trillion or $5 trillion. I do not see how the fascists will not suck harder knowing the gravy train has to end sometime and I do not see how the national debt increase can be held to $4.5 trillion under WarCriminal. I say $5 trillion will be closer than $4 trillion in representing the debt * will burden us with.

6. "He can run, but he can't hide." Think of all the quotes by this |

misbegotten SOB that can be used to describe himself and his extremist cabal. A compilation of those quotes would be a fitting descriptive legacy.
