DUers! Let's do an armchair psych eval on Bushie!
We know he's an alkie and has likely fallen off the wagon.
We know he's seriously co-dependent with Rove.
We know he's lost touch with reality, and refuses to listen to advisors reporting failures in policy.
We know he can't accept responsibility.
We know he has "issues" with his mother.
We know he has "issues" with his father.
We know he can't handle criticism of any kind.
We know he likes to isolate himself.
We know he's paranoid about disloyal staff and has stopped talking to them.
We know he's "mentally challenged" and can't open a door.
We know he "likes" torture.
There's lots, lots more we know about our "pal" Bushie.

So break out your DSM III (IV?) and start diagnosing the chimp. It will save time if we have a list ready when the guy goes koo koo.

(And for any folk out there who actually have mental illnesses - I'm one, with my handy dandy icky PTSD - no offense is intended by this Bushie mental eval toy.)

are of above average intelligence. If little george is, he's hiding it well.

14. Most, but not all. Bushie sure has managed to kill and torture a LOT...
...of people despite his mental handicap. Some people overcome their limitations to live up to their full potential - too bad it's sociopathy for lil' Bushie.

12. Many, most of the serials had above average intelligence.
So, you know, I don't think Bush could pass the serial killer pre-reqs.

15. Maybe he leans on his fellow sociopath Rove when he needs some...
...extra-evil thinking? And then there's the evil pupeteer himself, Darth Cheney, to add to the overall sociopathic think tank at the White House. Like minds stick together and all that.

7. mental faculties deteriorating, too
if the film clips of him running for Governor of Texas are any indication. This would be a symptom of some underlying cause, such as prolonged alcohol/drug abuse, I would guess, though I've heard rumors he has inherited some sort of genetic disorder from his mother that also is a contributing factor.

10. Maybe he's got alzheimer's, like Reagan, but Bushie's further along.
You can definately tell there's something weird going on in the Bush genes. I mean, look at ol' mom and pop!

3. I'm not up on the latest terminology
but I've always called what Bush has Drunken Frat Boy Syndrome. Drunken Frat Boy Syndrome means that the person does all sorts of stupid, idiotic, and dangerous behavior and never expects to have to pay the consequences of said behavior, since he never has. He is interested only in himself and how he can use others to his own ends, which usually aren't clear to him because he's been in an alcoholic haze too long. He also expects to have everything handed to him and have everything go his way, because that is the way he was brought up, and he is at a loss as to what to do when things don't turn out the way he wants. There is no known treatment for this sort of thing, as the person has usually grown long beyond the time when he could learn life's lessons, and so someone else has to clean up the mess they leave behind.

No offense to anyone who has pledged to a fraternity-I'm talking about the irresponsible minority and their behavior when I coined the phrase describing Bush's behavior.

27. He thinks he doesn't have to answer...
and he doesn't. The few times he has answered, he gets very flustered. It just shows he's never had to answer to people his entire life except maybe mom and dad. What happened to him when he didn't show up for Reserve duty? Nothing. What happened with his drunk driving tickets? Nothing. What happened when he screwed up businesses he was given. Nothing. Oh sorry, he was rewarded with a governorship, then presidency. I can't imagine going through life like this... always being above it all and never dealing with consequences.

8. Running around wildly manic all the time? That fits.
And when he's boozing he's all depressed and paranoid and stuff.

Maybe he's a closet manic-depressive with OTHER problems, as well?

Perhaps we should suggest some serious meds?

24. Wow, so possible:
Patients often attempt to hide their poor memory by confabulating. The patient will create detailed, believable stories about experiences or situations to cover gaps in memory. This is not usually a deliberate attempt to deceive because the patient often believes what he is saying to be true. It can occur whether or not the thiamine deficiency was related to alcoholism and with other types of brain damage.

21. Flat out narcissistic sociopath
His doppleganger Ted Bundy, another Republican, had the same glib, fake outer appearance. But as far as killing goes, Bundy was a piker. This is the most successful sociopath since Pol Pot.

25. OK, I realized Bushie was SO mentally ill I needed to refer to a real...
...list of illnesses to get an idea of all his 'little' problems:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-IV_Codes

Here's a few I found that definately fit:

1. Conduct disorder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conduct_Disorder

2. Oppositional defiant disorder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oppositional_defiant_disorder

3. Tic NOS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tic

4. Separation anxiety disorder (he's AWFULLY close to Rove) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_anxiety_disorder

5. Dementia NOS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia

6. Amnesia NOS (flip flop!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amnesia

7. Alcohol Related Disorders (the list) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-IV_Codes#Amnestic_Disorders

8. Cocaine Related Disorders (the list) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSM-IV_Codes#Amnestic_Disorders

9. Schitzoaffective Disorder http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizoaffective_disorder

10. Reverse Body Dismorphic Disorder (Bush thinks he looks pretty while we women think he looks :puke:) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_dysmorphic_disorder

11. Exhibitionist (Why else would he put socks in his pants when NO ONE would want to look there anyway?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exhibitionist

12. Intermittent Explosive Disorder (now in the press for your enjoyment!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermittent_explosive_disorder

13. Kleptophilia (he WANTS Iraq!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kleptomania

14. Pyromania (he loves dropping his bombs, even just for the fun of it! And what about all those firefighters he had shipped to NO for photos with himself?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyromania

15. Paranoid Personality Disorder (he doesn't want to talk to those evil, disloyal aides!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paranoid_personality_disorder

16. Narcissistic Personality Disorder (he loves himself a little TOO much!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissistic_Personality_Disorder

17. Dependent Personality Disorder (can't make a move without Rove or Cheney approval!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dependent_personality_disorder

18. Borderline Intellectual Functioning (That's obvious!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_retardation#Ranges_of_IQ

19. Parent-Child Relational Problem (Poor Georgie just doesn't get ol' mom and dad!)

20. Antisocial Personality Disorder (he hates us!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antisocial_Personality_Disorder

21. Schitzotypal Personality Disorder (he just can't understand why we don't believe he's god!) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizotypal_personality_disorder

It's so sad. Poor widdle Georgie is seriously mentally ill. He needs some serious medication and removal from his high stress job.

But what did the 'pukes do? They gave him nukes to play with, instead.

Woe is me!

such disorders, maybe there'd be a glint of hope.

Unfortunately we are in truly deep the doo-doo here.

26. I don`t know what you call it, but....
Bush certainly has some serious problems. In the nature vs. nurture debate, I come down on the nuture side of this one. Did anyone ever say "no" to this guy?

Nestled between blowing up frogs and blowing up Iraq is a lifetime of habitual adolescent behavior. Bush never grew up. He had neither curiosity nor ambition. Not needed. There were always coattails to ride.

When Bush finally realized there was a world out there beyond sky boxes and golf carts, his chronic self-indulgence was impossible to conceal as was his lack of empathy. He punished anyone who dared cross him...as any A-1 bully would do.

Bush is dangerous, as is evidenced by his famous Karla Faye Tucker comment, his willingness to get guitar lessons while Americans were drowning in New Orleans, his torture camps, his sick...Nope. No WMDs under here...skit and on and on ad nauseam.

29. let's not forget his physical limitations
- has a hard time staying upright on a bicycle
- falls off the forgivable segue
- has difficulties dealing with pretzels

This has obviously led to some repressed feelings of incompetence

leading to over-compensation through his school-yard bully actions and constant need to prove his manhood - particularly to his parents
