In this morning's PR speech, Bush now calls Insurgents "REJECTIONISTS" |
|
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 11:23 AM by cyberpj
in·sur·gent (in-sûr?j?nt) adjective Rising in revolt against civil authority or a government in power; rebellious. noun 1. One that revolts against civil authority. 2. A member of a political party who rebels against its leadership.
I couldn't find an entry for REJECTIONIST but here's rejection:
re·jec·tion (ri-jek?sh?n) noun 1. The act of rejecting or the state of being rejected. 2. Something rejected. 3. Medicine. The failure of a recipient's body to accept a transplanted tissue or organ as the result of immunological incompatability; immunological resistance to foreign tissue.
I guess he actually has a point there...

Reminded me of when Raygun got all petulant and said, "I'm not going to call them contras. I'm going to call the freedom fighters." He can call them rutabagas, if he wants. That doesn't change reality.

|
Same old shit with a couple new words. 35 pages of same ol same ol. He said nothing new, just spit out what he knows best..........we're gonna win or we'll never leave. And if he has his way, we won't ever leave.

he had allowed the "Inspectionists" to finish their jobs, and allowed the world to have seen that the WMDs were a lie.

And they'd better be careful because their new word sounds a lot like "Protectionists" --as in those who can't let go of their oil.

6. Oh, good grief. The speechwriters and policy whores at the WH must have |
|
just about popped a cranial artery or two coming up with that one. "Rejectionist" really flows trippingly off the tongue, doesn't it? I do like that definition, "resistance to foreign tissue." Wonder how long it will be before Pox News starts using the new word? George Orwell would be so proud.

12. I would think that 'Seditionists' would benefit Bush better. |
|
Anarchist also seems more applicable to Bush's standards.
Rejectionist doesn't have the same menacing tone that those have to scare people.
Maybe they are trying to downplay the insurgency, make it seem like nothing more than a minor irritation. . .

~Rejection-ists
~Terra-ists
Now, THAT covers just about everybody - even me! I reject Bush's war.
Seriously, who the HELL gets paid to make this sh*t up??? :wtf:
I think we should call his bluff and start a rejectionist movement in the U.S.. Let's see if Bush wants to fight the "rejectionists" here instead of there.

That would take some really really large ones.
But it exists.

21. rejectionists = rejects = losers (per The Cunning Realist) |
|
someone also posted there:
Actually, 'rejectionist' is not new (though it might not have made the dictionaries.) Back in the '70s, Palestinian groups who rejected the idea of any peace with Israel, and would work to scuttle any agreement that (e.g.) got back only some of the original Palestine, were called 'rejectionists'. (George Habash, for instance.)
