The media , much like a cult, need to be deprogrammed
Just like the folks in the Jim Jones cult, they have drank the kool aid. The believe in the rightness and goodness of their proclaimed leader. They automatically get defensive and put down anyone that might question their leader or his Party. They have been programmed over the years to take the devil's advocate position against any Democrat that might be on their TV or radio program. They defend even the most obvious lies and statements by the Cult Party. Even their body language is programmed to attack any Democrat that might appear on the Corporate Media. It is very difficult to find someone that is not part of the cult.

1. We Can End Their Stranglehold By Offering Something Better
With the convergence of technologies, and everything coming over one pipe, it's possible that we can offer a good alternative to the present mainstream media.

Already, newspapers, radio and TV stations are losing advertising to the net. The big change is already underway.

I've given up on trying to change the mainstream media. I'm interested in replacing them.

2. Does deprogramming involve cruise missiles?
I'd send in the Marines too. We need to liberate journalism from the right-wing corporate overseers who see to it that their "on air personalities" always toe the party line.
