If Free Republic Members get their way |
|
there soon will be more American Troops killed in Iraq then those killed on September 11th, 2001. How will they celebrate? Conservatives want our kids to continue to die in Iraq because to say otherwise would require humility and an admission of error; in other words Christian Acts. They will not do it. Our kids continue to die and conservatives don't care. I'm glad I avoided having such incredible conservative "support" when I was in uniform. If so, my wife would tend to my grave three or four times a year.

2. But the number they're interested in is how many innocent Iraqis are dead |
|
That's what really counts.
And by all measures, we're way ahead of the number killed on 9/11.
That's how you show the bastards: By killing more of their innocents than they have killed of yours.

4. We need to nuke New Zealand to show we aren't to be trifled with |
|
I'm pretty sure no New Zealander is involved in terrorism. Plus we can kill a lot of children and sheep, turn that pastoral land into a wasteland.

Am making up a good poster saying this with the question can we quit now. I'm hoping the common people that still equate Iraq with 911 might think. peace

7. I was just talking to my daughter |
|
She's involved what's turned out to be a bunch of bullshit getting out of the army. She's got it straightened out now looks like-- But you should have heard her rant about the army, the poor supplies, the mismanagment-- the unit she's leaving will deploy in next August (I had thought it was sooner) to Iraq, and the MONEY ISN'T there to provide our soldiers with some of the most basic equipment, much less the best available that our soldiers deserve. Part of her rant, a bit unrelated- "I hate Halliburtin, I hate Cheney I hope they all wake up and find there dicks falling off" This is because the civilian contractors get paid very big bucks and DON'T have to go into harms way (fire zones) the way soldiers do. They will do as little as possible (Not all of them she says, but many of them) and collect big government money. She is Pissed off. She didn't want to leave the military but felt they left her no choice. And don't get her started on Iraq. The army has turned her into a flaming liberal because of some of the shit she's been exposed to. And the girl is a kick ass soldier, went on 32 female search missions, got her Air assualt wings, never shirked any duty,--all that shit. She thinks we need to get out of Iraq. ASAP Those freepers are some of the most disgusting people on the planet

9. I salute your daughter for her service |
|
and thank her for an incredible mission of defending our constitution against her commander in chief. I guess rush limbaugh won't be taking her call. Screening veterans the conservative way. I hope your daughter is registered to vote.
Our Army is slowly grinding to a halt because george bush lacks any semblance of leadership skills plain and simple.

I thought I had to do some talking about how liberals DO support our soldiers, not just rwers, which is kind of a general perception in the army. Then she told me about a care package she got from a 21 year liberal gay man who had AIDS. He told her, I don't support the war, but I support the soldiers. That impressed her no end. I've stayed fairly non-political with her especially when she was deployed. She has come up with her opinions from being exposed to truth over and over. I don't have to say a word, I just let her get it out. Hopefully, I'll get her on DU someday. And I'll pass on your thanks, it means a lot, BOSSHOG

11. If you include contractors and allied troops |

I'm pretty sure we've already reached that benchmark. The terrorists won.
Notes of congratulation can be sent to 1600 Pensylvania avenue where the holiday festivities have already begun.
