Charlie Rangel vs James Clyburn ?? Who's the best endorsement ? |
|
As we know, Charlie Rangel has endorsed General Clark and Jim Clyburn has endorsed Kerry. Which endorsement do you think has the most influence overall? No doubt, Clyburn will have some influence in his home state, but with blacks nationwide, would Rangel have more effect on the black vote?
If so, why is Clyburn getting all the positive attention and Rangel and Clark did not get much attention, that I noticed.

Northeast. Clyburn SC. I guess for this primary Clyburn might come out ahead. But nationally Rangel reaches more people. So that might be better in the long run.

but I'm sure he is proud of both endorsements. Especially while he is IN South Carolina.

8. Clyburn for reasons stated above. |

But is Rangel part of the House Democratic Leadership? Seems to me at one point I was watching C-SPAN (perhaps on that day when they had to call capitol security to break up a fight or something) and Nancy Pelosi was giving a press conference. Charles Rangel was right behind her, making me think he is the Whip or the Vice-Minority Leader or the Right-Hand Man or something. Anyone know?

9. I've always loved Charlie Rangel |

Clayburn just seems like another politican (except in SC) Charlie is a hero to most all other blacks. Too damn bad Clyburn had to endorse Edwards instead of dividing up the black vote. But I guess he had to back the boy from his home turf.
