Is it me, or does it seem like Chimpy has been prez
forever? Maybe when things are in the toilet time seems to go slower. I can't believe his (cough cough) 2nd term started just last January. Gawd Almighty, talk about "Bush fatigue"-his visage is disgusting and we still have three more years! Yikes!

5. What's really sad is, if we all live to be 80,
the "Chimp Years" will have amounted to 10% of our lives. :(

6. I think of a line from "Cheers"
In which the character Kirstie Alley played (don't remember the name) was reflecting on how many years she had known everyone at Cheers, then broke into sobs of, "Have I been here that long?"

I'm pretty much in that place much of the time, when I'm forced to look at Skanky Bush.

7. It's like time spent in root canal vs. time spent dancing the night away.
One takes forever, the other is over in a blink.

Then there's Bush Time, which moves slower than glaciers...and even glaciers are speeding up these days. :(

9. I know that we must wait 3 more years to rid our nation of this pest
It's sad. Too bad the election could not have been this year. The Dems would have swept into power.

10. Yes...and President Clinton's eight years just flew by :( You know WHY?
When something is good, and things are going well...time goes fast.

When something is bad, and things are going DISASTROUSLY...time goes slow.

I think it's the general rule of thumb for most things, you're having a good time and the time seems to go quick...you're not having a good time and the time seems to drag on.

12. He hasn't been "prez" yet...
He is the Resident not the President. He was never legitimatly elected so I refuse to call him President. It does however seem as if we have been a country without a democracy forever.

16. Why I LOVE DU - because folks can express MY views perfectly, just...
...as you just did.

Bush makes me want to hurl every time I look at him. I no longer watch the corporatized news because I have no desire to see or hear about him. IMO, a good day is a Bush free day. I CAN'T WAIT for his terms to be over and he's out on his *. Cheney too, that disgustingly corrupt rodent!

If we were where we are now last year, he wouldn't be president now. It's annoying that he still has three years to destroy this country, when Americans are already sick of him now, and especially when we see how quickly everything really tipped against him.

Though, another part of me is happy that he has three full years ahead of him to completely destroy the Republican Party for generations.

21. The time crawls along with my skin...
It has been forever. Put it this way. When he started his term I was a child of 12. Now I am an elderly 150 and aging more with each passing day.
