Bush: "I want everyone who wants to work to be able to find work" |
|
I hate it when he says this. He said it a lot during the campaign. What he is doing is excusing rampant unemployment, implying that the only folks not working are those who are too lazy to get a job.
2008 where are you?

the chimp's free trade policies just cost 30,000 jobs from GM and now Ford is going to close 8 plants. Where? here, no other place, just here. Sooner or later free trade will leach every meaningfull job out of this country.

I do know that once your unemployment benefits run out, you are no longer counted. Also, they do not keep track of underemployment.

13. at a living wage, with health care. What, bush didn't say that. |

The problem is not finding any work at all. The problem is finding decent work to supports one's self anf family if they have one. Working part time at wal-mart and making so little that you are on public assistance does not count.
