It will be a Merry Christmas in free republic households this year
Our kids continue to get slaughtered in the Desert of Iraq; just what free republic members want to happen and the slaughter will continue, ergo a Happy New Year in free republic households. george bush will continue to lie and free republic members will continue to defend his lies. And our kids will continue to die as free republic members continue not to enlist. Is it not totally tragic, that which gives conservatives joy?

1. Throw the
execution of Tookie in as a bonus, and the freeps will be breathless with their sick, twisted joy.

2. Those were my thoughts... But it is not just the FReepers who are happy.
On the point you brought up there are also DUers who seem plenty happy that "justice is being served."

3. No they won't because no matter what they get, they whine
about what they don't have. So, no theyre not happy because they're too angry to be.

4. Gays still can't get married.
Keep your eye on what's important here. Job just got offshored? No problem. Gays still can't get married. Kid just shipped out for her third tour in Iraq? Look on the bright side. Gays still can't get married. Heating oil bill so high you can't afford food this month? Who needs to eat, as long as gays still can't get married?

You have to understand - it's not our illegal corporate-bought-and-paid-for government that's stolen their way of life - it's the omnipotent liberals who who want to turn their sons gay and force their daughters to have abortions.

Once you understand that - you understand everything.

5. Does any one feel safer that we are in Iraq?
I think that terror has gone up every place since we went into Iraq. Why does the President keep saying he has made things safer. It is crazy.
