Bush Acknowledges Faulty Iraq Intelligence but Insists “Stay the Course”
Bush Acknowledges Faulty Iraq Intelligence but Insists “Stay the Course”
December 14th, 2005

In a speech today at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, Bush “accepted responsibility” for going to war in Iraq, “with faulty intelligence.” However, he firmly defended that decision which has deeply divided the American public and once again uttered his “stay the course” message.

“We cannot and will not leave Iraq until victory is achieved,” he said.

“It is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong. As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq,” the president told a foreign policy forum on the eve of elections to establish Iraq’s first permanent, democratically elected government. “And I’m also responsible for fixing what went wrong by reforming our intelligence capabilities. And we’re doing just that.”

2. BULLSHIT! The ONLY intel operable then was coming from Weapon inspectors
on the ground in Iraq, and they REPORTED TO YOU the FACTS on the ground for two months, and you decided to invade KNOWING there were no WMDs.

The whole "bad intel" meme is being pushed so the media blames the CIA instead of Bush.

5. Fortune Cookie of the Day:
I'm opening it up, and it says: "Horse of a Different Color don't eat hay".

Interpretation: Bush does not think like the rest of us. Just because we think in terms of honor and decency, do not expect this man to be that way. Every day, that he is allowed to walk back into the White House and sit down at his desk, HE IS A SUCCESS. He will continue doing what he has always done, which is LIE, LIE, fib, make stuff up, and lie some more just for good measure.

As long as he isn't thrown out, or pulled out the front door hanging on to the moulding, he considers himself to be a success. Never forget that.

These people are not like us.
