Republican nastiness in congress today
The concentrated and orchestrated efforts by conservatives to discredit LA Governor Blanco about Hurricane Katrina efforts continued today during a congressional committee meeting (broadcast on New Orleans Radio.) Some jerkoff republican (did not get his name) browbeat Blanco and said that the 11-hundred who you let die because of the hurricane was half as many as has died in Iraq and that is unacceptable. Blanco calmly replied, Louisiana has lost 52 guardsmen in Iraq and that is unacceptable. Another trained monkey of the GOP was blathering on about michael brown's knowledge and competence. Listening to members of the party of responsibility working hard to take on zero responsibility is priceless. Today's session was a waste of your tax dollars but one good thing, the event preempted limbaugh from the local airwaves for awhile.
