Bob Kur, just now on MSNBC (so no link).

The "Bush OK'd Spying On Americans" story is certainly not going to restore Bush's "sunny nobility."

Kur said that "In order to prevent a fire on Capitol Hill, Vice President Dick Cheney will be going there shortly to talk with the leaders."

THAT should calm everyone down.

2. I'm sure Herr Cheney will be on all the Sunday talk shows
muttering in that voice of his how this was all good and proper and saved zillions of lives and lie about how it was used.

9. One law for Dems..
.. no law for Reeps.

If that changes, I would be so happy.

I keep hoping.

Also, I had to laugh when I read that subject header.

They're sending -Cheney- to douse the flames?!
That's rich. He's more likely to add burning oil and grease
to the turbulent waters that have turned from a drip into a
torrential, swirling eddy engulfing that culture of corruption
in their claws. hehheh

12. Mr. Chenis, can you confirm or deny that the Bolton files that the
Dems wanted prior to his confirmation hearings, contained evidence that NSA domestic intercepts were part of our intelligence gathering effort? Were there any intercepts that involved members of the Congress or their staffs?

17. Makes perfect sense to me.
Cheney's the one who knows what's in everyone's files. They also spied on Congress, you don't think they just spied on common people do you?

18. The J. Edgar Hoover practise-secret files on all congressmen.
How does the Freedom of Information Act work on this? Can people find out if they were spied on, and if so what information was gathered about them? I am SURE they went after all the Dem Senators and Congresspersons, and any moderate Republicans.
