Look how much it took to bring Bush to his knees.
His approval ratings are in the sewer as is his credibility. Republican leaders had to beg him. His domestic policy - if there is any - is a hostage of Iraq. Politically, he's toast, as is his party in 2006.

So now - finally - after 2100 dead American solidiers, 10's of thousands permanently maimed, and 30,000 dead Iraqis (HIS numbers, but I think there are many more) he FINALLY admitted that he was wrong. He FINALLY admitted that Iraq is a mistake. He FINALLY admitted that there is an opposition and that opposition has a place in the public debate.

Finally, after this much political damage, did George Bush finally be a man, stop thumbing his nose at nay-sayers, and take responsibility for his actions. FINALLY.

What does this mean, however? It's a about as genuine as cheap veneer. It's much, much too little much, much too late.

You fake. Get the fuck out of the Oval Office.

1. He has not admitted it, really
he's still making excuses, repeating the 9-11 mantra, the terrorists hate our freedoms mantra, the "fight 'em there or fight 'em here" mantra. He STILL doesn't get it, and never will.

4. Only in part.
Sure he took blame, but it was interlaced with phony platitudes of freedom.

9. Right. For everything sensible he said, he shot it down with a platitude.
The guy is just not believable and that's all there is to it. He tells us what he wants us to hear. They calculate every word and what they can expect from them....and they're getting desperate. So dubya baring his soul is supposed to bring his base back to their knees and make the rest of ashamed of doubting him. Puke!

everything is choreographed. everything is weighed and figured. nothing the do is real except kill people by the hundreds of thousands (check the lancet report). George is a sack of shit. Every neocon is a sack of shit. Every republican... -the few who know their asses from holes in the ground -- they are sacks of shit.

Blames everyone else for his zillion goofs, then tries to act like he's so down to earth. He's so sickening, and such a fake.:puke:
