What Is Up With The Today Show?
Why has the Today Show all of a sudden started putting far right wing people on the show to talk about political issues. It seems like they are once again trying to give credibality to these people. Within the last two months Bill O'Reilly has been on the show at least twice. Ann Coulter has been on the show once. Finally Laura Ingram has been on the show twice. My problem with these people is that they are not interested in debating the issues. They do not care about whether something is legal or not they just care that Bush wants to do that particular thing.

People who did watch the debate between Ingram and James Carville got to see where Republicans are bring this debate. This morning Ingram claim that their was nothing in the law that abrograted the presidents ability to spy on citizens. Before this Republicans were claiming that the Iraq War Resolution and other laws gave the President the right to spy on citizens. Many people pointed out that non of those laws gave the President the right to spy on citizens. So now it seems that they will try to say that the laws although they do not give him the right to spy on citizens it does not prevent him from doing so.

2. I don't watch so-called network news
but I believe I noticed that the today show is coming to XM radio

Maybe it was to add to XMs abundant right wing programming. I left Sirius because XM has AAR, and Sirius left just doesn't cut it for me, but it is pathetic how it is still difficult for liberal/progressive content to get access to the airwaves

it's all part of being "balanced"
in other words don't do any investigating and reporting of the facts and just
put differing views on the air as if they carried equal factual weight.

Of course this is called not doing your job.

I was wrong.

I hope the money buys her what she wants.

Do you have any idea how much crap the Administration has on the Media? It's no longer about access to press conferences, it's now about telling your wife about...

7. Same reason they're playing hillbilly music in the square
They are playing to the heartland, to the moron corridor from Texas to the Dakotas, to the south and ignoring who and where they are, while ignoring the bulk of their urban audience (rural folks are already hard at work doing chores when they go on the air).

They are too painful to watch these days.

14. Couric is crap, I can't stand to watch her or Matt

I watch abc.

Charlie Gipson is a shill but Robin and Diane seem to hide their feelings pretty well.

All but a few of the MSM appear to be trash.

Now that they have that WP and abc poll with Chimps #'s going to the sky, who knows what to believe.

11. Actually...
...the FISA law and the Fourth Amendment specifically prohibit "fearless leader" from doing exactly what he claims to have done.

But I wouldn't expect those little details to darken Laura's bright and sunny "analysis."

The check is in the mail Laura...

some balance. They aren't the only ones though. They are ALL doing it this morning. The media execs probably realized their pocket books might be effected by their King admitting that he committed a crime and could therefore bring down the whole house of cards starting in 06' with the removal of all their patsies in the House and Senate. (I don't think impeachment will ever happen without a HUGE unseating of Republicans, and even then time will be an issue to get him impeached, convicted, and thrown out)

Talk about flip-flopping. It is no wonder Americans want to stop listening. One day he's a criminal, the next he's a hero... all via the media spin on his poll numbers!:banghead:
