FBI spied on Enviro grps, PETA, Catholic Wrkrs' Movement, Dartmouth Studnt
http://www.isn.ethz.ch/news/sw/details.cfm?id=13974

The debate raged amid separate revelations on Tuesday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had spied on organizations such as the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and Greenpeace for their possible links to radical environmental groups.

The revelations, made by The Washington Post newspaper, also said the agency spied on the Catholic Workers' Movement, a labor group, accusing it of having "Communist" goals.

Separately, the Standard-Times newspaper in Massachusetts said a senior student at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth was questioned by federal agents two months ago after he requested a copy of Mao Tse-Tung's "Little Red Book" on an interlibrary loan. The newspaper said the student was picked because he had traveled overseas extensively.

12. And if you are ignorant, stupid, insular, and
believe the poor should be killed and eaten, you're a patriotic American?

4. I read this on CommonDreams.org
And while not shocked I am still sad that the Catholic Worker movement is "semi-communist". They are truly living out the Catholic Social Justice teachings. The definition appears to be that if it is not completly "every one for themselves" it is then "communist" in some way. That slander has done so much damage. Everything that is remotly collective is not politically correct nowadays.

5. Yes.... but let the however many dozens of Saudis fly out of the
frigging country a couple days after 911. They suck.... not the Saudis, the people who let them go without serious questioning.

10. No wonder they didn't have time to look into Sibel Edmonds claims
that people in this administration were complicit in 9-11.
