Rundown of TV Spygate coverage? |
|
Can anyone give me a rundown of how the (non-Fox) networks are covering this? I don't watch TV news and am currently cubicle bound at work. But, I'd like to know how this issue is playing out in the media on the Tee Vee... Are the Freepers winning? Is the press being totally shill about it? How's all this going over? Will it blow over by week's end, or does this seem to have real traction? After scandals and scandals and scandals, forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical this time, but I do have hope that this time, things will play out differently.
Appreciate any analysis on this. Thanks.

1. local media ignoring the "illegal spying" angle -.> |

talking and showing clips (mostly pro-spying clips) but NOT saying it is the illegal spying that is the issue.
we have always spied in some way.
the missing "illegal spying" angle is what the issue is all about and that bush is doing it against the laws HE set up.

2. Well, Bush didn't set up FISA |
|
That was set up in 1978, while Bush was still busy boozing and snorting cocaine.
