Poll question: Will Delay take the GOP Cabal down with him??
How will Tom Delay position himself as he careens from grace? Will he hold his head high with martyr-like dignity as the GOP Vultures whom he helped into office pick over his carcass and make him bear the blunt of the shame and blame? Or will he go down swinging and shed light on some of the Bush Family Crimes and other GOP Scandals now that Bush and the boys have wiped their hands of Delay? Even in defeat, he has asserted that he has done nothing wrong... but now that the GOP is cutting all ties with him, and things are looking more bleak in his legal battle in Texas, I don't think he'll embrace his new role as Social Pariah with as much gusto as he did with, say, the plight of Terri Schiavo. Now that the door of the House is hitting him in his considerable ass, what do you think Delay will do?

1. Oh, I hope so
Misery loves company and Jack Abramoff is obviously squealing his way to a lighter sentence so I think Delay will do the same. There is no honor among thieves.

9. Delay's a RAT!
and I hope he rats on Dennis Asstird!
Asstird's in charge of the House so he had to know what was going on! Why would he allow Ney from Ohio to go on record about Abramhoff's trouble with the casino ship owner in Florida? And by knowing about ongoing corruption, wheather he took money or not, doesn't Asstird have a legal obligation to stop it?

2. There is no way Delay will go with dignity
It is a concept completely foreign to the bugman.

7. I thought about putting in a "Plane Crash Option"...
I think that scenerio is very likely considering what's at stake.

8. They've killed for less !
I really believe they have no intention of leaving the seat of power, they sure aren't going to let their bag man take them down.

4. Although, I think he will go away after some squawking, I don't think
He will be allowed to stay in Washington long enough to do the damage we all hope for.
He could be told to go away or just have an accident.

5. If his performance so far is any clue
his desperate attempts to get judges thrown of his case and change venues, his hysterical ravings about a vast left wing conspiracy, I think he will do anything to save his ass from going to jail. This includes ratting out someone higher up the food chain. And if he has any doubts as to whom to give up to gain a lighter sentence, I'd like to call his little piggy attention to the recent article stating that * and the white house staff regarded him as a useful servant and were basically snickering at him behind his back.

12. Its the "Useful Servants" that always turn in the end...
I think Delay will pull a Lee Harvey Oswald and start talking - at least that is my hope.

6. I just have a gut feeling that Delay
doesn't really know where that many bodies are buried.

Would you trust the egotistical fool with anything important?

10. The big honchos are the the Giant Corporations.
The bug-man, junior, and the likes are just front men, who do as they're told.
Probably Cheney and James A. Baker are as close as one could come with having a brain, and they're doing the Carlyle & Halliburton waltz.
