'Impaler' sinks his teeth into governor's race |
|
Oookay now.... http://www.startribune.com/587/story/178289.htmlLooking for something really, really different in a political candidate this year?
Take a gander at Jonathon (The Impaler) Sharkey, who will launch his gubernatorial campaign in Princeton, Minn., on Friday the 13th as a "satanic dark priest" and the leader of the "Vampyres, Witches and Pagans Party."
Since there's nothing but a $300 filing fee to stop anyone from running for statewide office, campaigns in Minnesota typically attract colorful and eccentric characters looking for attention. And of course, former Gov. Jesse Ventura broke the mold and got elected. But Minnesota may never have seen a more outside-the-box politician than the Impaler, also a former pro wrestler.also http://www.jonathonforgovernor.us/Home_page.html

1. while I support his right to run, this guy sounds like an idiot |

"Vampyres, Witches and Pagans" are three very different things, and I really don't like that 'satanic' being bumped up next to pagan and witch. Too much disinformation for me.
I guess he'll get the WWF vote, though. :eyes:

3. Wow, he's also going to run for President in 2008. Now there's a |

candidate for all those vowing to leave the Democratic Party if Alito is confirmed!

Let's see.....bloodsucking, evil, and full of himself.
And boffed his half-sister.
Sounds like NeoCon material to me. The GOP should recuit him to replace Tom DeLay.
