Dear Senator Bingaman,

I know you voted FOR Judge Roberts a few months ago.
However, IF you vote for Alito I WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT YOU! Plain and simple. HE MUST BE FILIBUSTERED!!! We are in a Constitutional crisis!
You know it, I know it, and more Americans are waking up to it everyday. I am asking you to do what is best for our country...DO NOT vote for Alito, PLEASE!!!

3. My Letter to Both Senators Murray and Catnwell:

I am urging you to filibuster Samuel Alito's nomination for the supreme court. I am afraid for my country. I am terrified that Samuel Alito will not ot only tip the scales against the right od choice for women and the right to privacy, he is a corporate lawyer who has bragged about fraternizing with known bigots and chauvinists. He is another hack out of the Project For the New American Century which hates democracy and would like to reinstate an elitist regime where only the rich and corporations have say and the American citizen is considered merely cannon fodder against the greedy grab for world domini nation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century

People have DIED to preserve the rights of citizens over these kinds of people! We do not want world domination, we want health care and decent jobs with protections and a clean environment. I have been watching all this erosion of our rights unfold while Democrats sat on their hands over the past 15 years thanks to this skewed thinking. If you want the support to be reelected, then you must not stay on the sidelines. Support the filibuster against this radical activist judge. I am beyond sick of Democrats who do not have the courage to stand up for us ~ except for the Black Democratic Caucus. At this moment only the BDC are our real patriots and Barak Obama is concerned because of course, the Bush administration refused to meet with them before the hearings.

If you stand aside and let this man pass onto the court, you are obviously not concerned about the most basic American values we have stood up to defend.

I have very little hope that Martinez gives a damn what we think but Nelson is an important vote. He has a history of supporting the Repubs when it suits him. Perhaps this time we can drown him in enough phone calls, email, snail mail, etc to bring him around.
