What does it take?

To show that impeachment is a must?

To show that a nominee for the SCOTUS must answer questions and not be a radical right wing ideologue?

I can barely stand to follow the news these days, as it is too sickening.

Maybe I'm not listening to the right shows, cause I keep hearing people who don't wanna say they are in favor of impeachment.

Or hearing that Mrs. Alito's tears had an impact on the confirmation process. How about the tears of the many who have lost someone or some right or some access to medical care under *?

1. Seriously?
So long as the masses have the flickering screen - television or computer - along with enough food to fill their bellies and an occassional beer, nothing will happen.

Should any of the three elements listed above become broadly unavailable, it is likely - in my opinion - that considerable unrest would follow.

6. I dunno. all those things evaporated in Katrina aftermath
and, contrary to concerted efforts to portay it otherwise, massive unrest did not follow.

12. Take a look at those who were left behind...
the ones who lost everything and didn't get any help. They certainly seemed a tad ticked - not that I blame them.

Now increase the size of the group, and don't give them anything at all for a month. I think you just might see some unrest.

In other words, never.

4. I wondered the same thing aloud to Dearest Husband last night.
Natural Gas, gasoline, heating oil, medical care, insurance, local taxes, groceries - - everything is up by double digits.

People's kids and husbands and wives being killed for nothing, staggering deficits, malfeasance and corruption at the highest levels of government - - it can really hardly get worse for people.

And heading all of it up?

A clown, a loser, and asshat, someone with the social skills of the worst blind date you ever had.

George W. Bush would be on the outside looking in of any group I've ever belonged to, and yet he's not only the pResident, but people actually take him seriously.

I cannot acount for it unless there is some huge hypnosis scheme being perpetrated upon the public.

5. I don't get it either. Maybe each additional news of corruption
makes me expect too much to happen too quickly.

I'm so tired of waiting for this bleepin' national nightmare to be over.

I mean what evil have they NOT done???
