Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 11:04 PM by Adenoid_Hynkel
after the news that cnn is hiring glenn back, it just kind of shows how self-defeating it is to try to work with these agenda-driven 'news' channels.

what do we have to lose by not appearing on their rigged programs?

until there's a hightower for every beck, a schulz for every bennett, a rhodes for every scarborough - why do we pretend these channels are any more legitimate than FAUX?

1. All MSM is right wing. That's the way it is.
I don't watch cable news period. I hope every other Democrat will consider the same course.

3. I don't know about you but
I pretty much do this now. You never saw me do anything as fast as change channels with the remote the nanosecond Countdown is over so I don't have to listen to the froggy voiced broad that comes on after keith and that's the only time my TV is tuned to any of the cable "news" channels. Maybe you are suggesting I should tell them that? Good idea, I will.

4. Just don't forget to write to tell them this & why
Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 11:17 PM by Autumn Colors
If you just stop watching, that doesn't really do anything in and of itself. Send off an angry letter/email telling them you're no longer going to watch them (or won't except for Countdown) and WHY.

You know, some of those Katrina stories (i.e. the people being stopped from crossing the bridge) only made it on the air because of the massive amount of mail they received.

I think a massive letterwriting/email campaign would have more of an effect.

5. Boycotts generally don't work. Swamp them with letters.
