"Gore is a hypocrite" is, on its very face, absurd |
|
Today the cabal started is noise machine playing the refrain that Gore's a hypocrite for the things done in the Clinton years.
Well, fellas, I got news for ya ......... apart from the simple matter of your factual incorrectness, Gore was not the President and ordered nothing.
Unlike **your** veep, who is the puppetmaster, when Clinton was prez he was engaged and in charge.
Now, about the facts of the issues you sent, among others, Gonzo and little Liar Snotty Scotty to spout .......

2. Good point. Clinton was probably more engaged in issues in one week |
|
than Bush has been the last year. The very idea of the Bush people calling anyone hypocrites is absolutely disgusting. These are the same people who count on the public having a ten second attention span so they can spin whatever they want even if it contradicts what they said last week.

4. Husb, you are so right. Us to Media, "YOU CAN'T STAND THE TRUTH." |
|
...and you know, I liked the Nicholson character much better than Crews in that movie.
The media can't stand the fact that Gore is 10 x's smarter than they are and they'll never catch up (same problem they had with Clinton).
They can't stand the fact that Gore writes much better than any of them in structure, argument, and his rhetorical devices are "classical."
They can't stand the fact that he is supposedly "one of them" (they arrogate themselves to the wealthy class) but fights for the people.
and most of all, the MSM/CM can't stand the fact that Gore is intellectually honest...because THEY CAN'T STAND THE TRUTH.

We all should visit Harry Reid's blog and ask him where the hell is phase two that he was promised would be forthcoming, back when Reid shut down the senate. And please ask him why he doesn't support the efforts of John Conyers. http://giveemhellharry.com/blog/71/republicans-cannot-be-trusted-to-end-the-culture-of-corruption

7. Gore addressed the White House criticisms today by pointing |
|
out that their accusations about illegal searches during the Clinton administration were factually incorrect. At that time, authorization to search without warrant could be obtained from the attorney general, which is what they did. That law has now been changed.

only smears, insinuations, innuendos, and flat-out bullshit.

12. this is the course that the Dems MUST keep taking... |
|
We need to smack the repugs down every time they quote a "Regime Fact". They cannot stand the truth! They hide behind their fabricated truths and make things up as they go along. It is up to us to keep re-educating them every chance we get. We may actually be able to salvage a few of them. Smack them with the TRUTH until they see the light!!!!!

15. Gore needs to start regularly speaking to the American people. |
|
He should also write political pieces that we could read along the lines of Thomas Paine's "Common Sense".

14. This has been a very hard 24 hours for me... |
|
so this might not make much sense. For me, though, reading about Karen Huge (Thanks, Bob B.) and her talking points reminds me of the way the bander-log talked in Kipling's "The Jungle Book." Republican talking points, written by the bander-log.
