Tired of being USED?
"The bloggers and online donors represent an important resource for the party, but they are not representative of the majority you need to win elections," said Steve Elmendorf, a Democratic lobbyist who advised Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. "The trick will be to harness their energy and their money without looking like you are a captive of the activist left."

I know I am. F*CK OFF Elmendorf. :grr:  :grr:

1. Here's a pill for you:

Steve Elmendorf, a Democratic lobbyist who advised Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign.

He's a sour grapes kind of a person who has no clue about what's happening now! Tell
S. Elmendorf to join the party! And if the activist left is so intolerable, get the
fuck out!

3. God forbid the Dems should "look" like they're representing the people
I can't believe the bullshit these lobbyi$t$ and $trategist$ sell to politicians. They are so getting ripped off. Cheaper and wiser to go talk to their maids and gardeners.

Why don't they get a clue and start reading what we have to say on the net? We have truth and justice on our side, and all they want is money. Figures.

It is true though, I have seen it. The internet is a major educational tool- clearly the way of the future. Democratic candidates could/should use it to educate the masses, wake them up to what is going on in this country, and show everyone the democratic platform we could have for our country if we all put our minds to it. A platform of,by and for the people! We could do so much better with just a little education on these matters.

It is also hard to fathom that they haven't noticed the only place to get the real news is the net? They could trying reading a few stories, perhaps post important stories on their sites? They could use their sites to inform everyone about corporate media consolidation.

But instead, most put up a donate button...done. Of course that is the case for many so call activist sites as well, all they want is money for little or no actual work.

They better wake the fuck up because the NET IS THE FUTURE! and I am not talking about money. They better start paying attention or get the fuck out of the way!

of course this is coming from someone who 'advised' the Kerry campaign....heckuva job Elmendorf
:eyes:
