Saw this movie about Dracula today and it reminded me a lot of Bush. |
|
After watching the movie, I started reading about Vlad the Impaler, who was the real Vlad Dracula. What do you know, ol' Vlad gathered up the poor, disabled, and homeless in his principality and invited them to dinner. After they'd had a full meal he asked them if they'd like it if they had no more worries and never had to go hungry again. They responded in the affirmative. So Vlad, good guy that he was, bolted all the doors closed, and had his guys shoot burning arrows into the room and burned them all alive. Why? Because he thought only the wealthy should live in his principality, and he thought the poor and disabled contributed nothing. Vlad also saw a man in the fields who had a shirt that was odd looking. He stopped and asked the man why his shirt was different from everyone else's. The man told him that his wife was very ill and hadn't been able to finish work on his shirt because she was bedridden from illness. What did Vlad do? He went right over to the man's house, dragged his wife out of bed, and impaled her in front of their cottage for being too lazy to sew his shirt properly.
Vlad and Bush have SOOO much in common! We should just start calling Bush Dracula (which actually means son of the devil, which isn't inaccurate at all)!

I remember reading about the sinister Romanian count Vlad the Impaler, and there were unconfirmed rumors circulating that he bathed in buckets of peasants' blood (for that extra-clean feeling!). Seems the two have their respective materials of choice; Vlad for his blood baths, and Bush for his oil-soaked baths (for that slippery little sneak feeling).

4. OK, so Bush has even fewer redeeming qualities than Dracula! |

With a vampire in the White House, what's next?

10. It was called Dark Prince and on Sci Fi - more about Vlad the Impaler... |
|
...than most, which is what got me interested enough to look into the real guy.
