3. Gee....what about the other jilted suitors? |
|
Gore didn't endorse Gephardt, Kerry, Edwards or any of the other candidates. Will they get over it?
I dunno.

5. was anyone courting him ? |
|
I believe most expected him to respectfully stay quiet ala Clinton and Carter.
But then he wanted to step out into the spotlight and become the new leader of the party.

6. You mean the foaming at the mouth assaults, or just the pointed gripes? |
|
Lieberman has gone from bass to soprano since Gore announced his support of Dean.
AND, as if Al Gore would have thrown his support to Mr. fair-weathered support from Connecticut.
Lieberman didnt come close to deserving such an endorsement, and never did anything that I heard of or witnessed, to extend support or stand by Al Gore.
This is what amazes many of us about the Washington chronically enthroned politicians. Many seem to think they deserve the highest positions in our government without actually having to do much, if anything Talk much, act little, spend a LOT. Its actually somewhat frightening. Reminds me a little of corporate America.
In the end, in my opinion, this behavior does not look good at all for Lieberman and Im surprised he cannot see it, nor seemingly do any of his advisors.

9. Could He Leave ALL of Us Alone, Please? |
|
Let's see if these zigs and zags are correct: He castigated CLINTON back then and got a rise in his career. He castigated Hollywood and droped. GORE selected him (who knows). He did diddly in the debates and negatively in the recount. Now he attacks GORE. Who IS this person?

Gore endorsed Dean so the poll wouldn't make any sense if it was about Dean.
It wouldn't be half as funny either, and you wouldn't have cared if it was about Dean. You probably would be one of the ones cheering it

13. The funny part is that it's NOT an insult... |
|
Every Presidential candidate tries to balance the ticket. Gore was kinda left. Lieberman was kinda right. Gore didn't choose Lieberman because they had the same political philosophy, he chose him because they DIDN'T have the same political philosophy. Lieberman shouldn't feel slighted by this, it should be a foregone conclusion.
