Novakula just said Kerry is very hard to label and pin down. |
|
He said that it's hard to say he is weak on defense and also to label him as a Massachusets liberal. This was during the Capital gang. They as a group said that he is very hard to label as weak on defense. I like it.

I think they're going to settle on his wealth. Just keep repeating over and over that F is for Forbes.

5. yeah, they'll need more than that |
|
Skull and Bones is only good for the primaries, where you can try to get some poor souls to believe Kerry=Bush, but people don't seem to be falling for it.
What else do they have? I guess it's just geography, MA vs. Tx. Pretty weak.

6. Gonna be tough on Bush and the Republican Party to smear John |
|
Kerry's an S&B guy....no, so's George. Kerry's Rich.....no, so's the Bush Kerry's soft on Defense/National Security......that's a loser they won't touch. Kerry's a tax and spend liberal Democrat? Bush is a tax-cut and spend liberal Republican.
So what's to attack Kerry on?
Bring it On!

Why on earth are they going to tip their hand when it is by no means a given who our candidate will be yet?

8. You mean the anti-invasion/pro-invasion Kerry is hard to pin down? |
|
Edited on Sat Jan-31-04 08:10 PM by nu_duer
And this is a good thing?
Yay ambiguity. Democracy is saved.

11. It's called flip flopping wishy washy say anything to get elected |
|
pandering go with the flow politics. Yup hard to pin down a lack of integrity and a failure to stand for anything.
Dont worry, Rove has plenty on JK. They did a paper on him in 1986 titled "Will he say anything to get elected." Watch for them to spring this argument in October 2004.
Novacula is playing coy right now. Toying with you...

14. Dean has more flip flops than Miami beach. |
|
You support a guy that has more waffles than a super market.
Dean supported Biden-Lugar but didn't support the war. Dean said he would vote for the $87 Billion and now says he doesn't. Dean is for putting back all the tax cuts and then says he wants to cut payroll taxes. Dean whines to Terry that people are attacking him, but he attacks everyone else.
What's that saying about pots and kettles?

You just started this thread bragging about your guy's lack of clarity, as if that's some attractive moral attribute. Kerry can't even state a clear position on the most divisive issue of the last quarter centrury. How many words does it take to say "invading Iraq was wrong?"
Pot and kettle? Come on.

as governor, Dean supported Yucca Mountain as candidate, Dean opposes Yucca Mountain
as governor, Dean wanted a Balanced Budget Amendment as candidate, Dean doesn't want a Balanced Budget Agreement
as governor, Dean wanted to eliminate the use of race in AA as candidate, Dean denies saying he wanted to eliminate the use of race in AA
as governor, Dean cut social services as candidate, Dean wants to eliminate Bush*'s tax cuts to pay for more social services

It's not about Kerry's lack of clarity, it's about Kerry's lack of vulnerabilities.

22. "Kerry is not my guy" |
|
Well, we have that in common. :D
Seriously, didn't mean to offend. Guess I got the impression from your thread-starting post. My mistake.
Now if we could just address the issue of Kerry's ambiguity, which is the topic at hand, right?
