The 'crowds' memes
Murtha is with the 'Michael Moore crowd'

Conyers is with the 'moveon-dot-org crowd'

Al Gore is with the 'PETA crowd'

Cindy Sheehan is with the 'anti-war crowd'

How about we start using the 'Fox Newz crowd'?

'Bush's SOTU speech sounded as it it were written by the Fox Newz crowd.'

'When Negroponte (Commander Blackbridge) spoke to the Senate today, it was as if he was a commentator from the Fox Newz crowd.'

'Ann Coulter sounds as looney as the Fox Newz crowd.'

Is this message unclear to anyone?

4. The "crowd" they want you to identify yourself with is the "I'm going
to be rich someday, I want to buy a bunch of shit" crowd. They don't make any money or get any votes from the other crowds, thus the scorn.

5. I see the other side of the coin, and it would piss the Refucks off!
Murtha is a brainiac; he knows war like the best of them. Gee, Michael Moore must be right if a guy like Murtha agrees with him!

And so on and so forth, right down the list.

They have nothing bad to say about Murtha so they try to tie him to someone else. Same with Gore, Conyers, Sheehan, et al.

6. "fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd"....... Fearless, Pink Floyd

You say the hill's too steep to climb,
Climb it!
You say you'd like to see me try,
Climb it!
You pick the place and I'll choose the time
And I'll climb
The hill in my own way
just wait a while, for the right day
And as I rise above the treeline and the clouds
I look down hear the sound of the things you said today
Fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd, smiling
Emotionless the magistrate turns 'round, frowning
and who's the fool who wears the crown
Go down in your own way
And everyday is the right day
And as you rise above the fearlines in the frown
You look down
Hear the sound of the faces in the crowd
