The Speaker of the House and new Majority Leader lie on C-SPAN.....
...back to back on their short news conference on C-SPAN this morning. First, Dennis Hastert was bragging about the new unemployment numbers. He said they were 4.7% and were the lowest in "decades". Then the new Majority Leader, John Boehner, followed his remarks and said the very same thing: the unemployment rate was the lowest in "decades"?? Seems I recall that the unemployment rate was 4.1% when Bush took office? Actually, it was as low as 3.9% late in Clinton's last term, as I recall?

4. well walmart is hiring!
more jobs in the service industry while the manufacturing base slowly bleeds away. decent paying middle class jobs are becoming a thing of the past but no one really cares. the democrats and republicans say nothing about this or have no ideas on what to do so they spout shit.
maybe i should send the unemployment figures from one of his district offices-no improvement in my counties employment

5. My wife met a husband and wife the other day with 4 jobs...
between them. He had 3 jobs and she had one and they had children. But they had no insurance. They had come into the local Community Health Center. How prevalent is this?
