MTP should have had the people that have actually objected to this. The deck was stacked again.

1. Where is Sen. Rockyfeller??
I could not agree more. Where has Senator Rockyfeller been? He is the leading Dem Sen. on the Panel in question, and he is MIA.
I wonder if something is going on behind the scenes to supress Rocky. Even the RW Sites are wonderng what happenen to Senator Rockyfeller.

2. Good question. Daschle is out of the senate. I know he's against...
the illegal circumventing of the FISA court, but at least Rockefeller had a written protest to their plan

3. I Would Have Liked To See Feingold And Conyers...
Then we could have had people who didn't vote for the damn war. I am very ashamed the Senator Pat Roberts is "my" Senator. He is such a Bush shill and has no respect for the rule of law. He embarrasses me and should embarrass every American patriot.

5. Pat Roberts probably said he wouldn't appear if they had Rockefeller on
with him.

Please remember that these television programs do the deciding on who their guests will be.

That's why you see Joe Biden's mug on them almost every Sunday.

6. Sunday Talking Head Shows
I have wondered how they pick the guests for these shows.
Can't the DNC provide the list of available Senators and Congress Critters for these shows?
A little discipline would go a long way. Why do I have to suffer through Daschle to make a Dem talking point? Dascle didn't say a peep during his time of knowing about the NSA's super secret spying program.
Is this a prep for his Pres run in 08?

7. I guess I'm jaded, but I suspect that if the DNC submitted a list of
available Congress members, Russert and his colleagues would make a point to pull in someone else.

9. please remember that the DP has the option to insist who can speak
with authority. please stop promulgating this as if the Dems have absolutely no say in this, they can and should excersize leadership and authority over their own party leadership/spokespeople.

this crap is reminding me of the "foiled shoe-bomber who planned on using his shoes to bomb open the cockpit so he could take over the plane -

excuse me, but some of us were not born yesterday.

10. If DP means Democratic Party, I don't know that at all.
And I'm not inclined to think the worst of my party as my first reaction to a situation.

I am inclined to think the worst of the Corporate Media, however.
