"Sitting up in a chair, eating regular food, doing some attorney work..."
ALL activities he'd be doing ANYWAY if a drunken Cheney hadn't shot him in the fucking NECK, FACE and CHEST.

Whittington 'walking around'

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/02/15/cheney/index.html

Armstrong told CNN she had talked to Whittington on Wednesday and he is "up and walking around."

Peter Banko, a spokesman for Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital, told reporters Whittington is doing well after the heart attack.

He is "sitting up in a chair, eating regular food and actually plans on doing some of his attorney work in his room today," Banko said.

He said Whittington will probably stay in the hospital another six days, and explained that he is still in the facility's intensive care unit for "personal privacy reasons."

1. A nice PINK tie-
what's that supposed to do for him--on the one hand it's not good with his florid complexion, on the other hand, it supports the idea that he's drained of energy. Maybe he's wearing it because pink supposedly is a "calming" color.

4. ICU for "personal privacy reasons". Now, THAT's a laughable lie.
Anyone who has ever spent any time in an ICU knows it's the LEAST PRIVATE PLACE in the hospital. Doctors, nurses, and other staff are coming, going, and yammering right outside your room 24 hours a day!

If the guy wanted privacy, he'd be in a regular private room at the far end of the hall down from the nurse's station.

No, the guy's not in the ICU because he wants to be. He's in there because he HAS to be.

5. It's possible that he IS sitting up, walking a bit, and reading some
law journals. Sure it's being made to sound more positive than it probably is, but when my huband had he quad bypass surgery, he was sitting up in bed the next day, & eating normal food. By the third day he was walking up & down the hall, and he came home on day 5.

I'm sure the biggest problem is worrying about possible infection, and perhaps other shot they don't know about yet.
