How many US troops are presently in U.A.E.?

Does the Dubai government permit US troops on their soil? Does anyone have any numbers? Could it be there is some agreement in the works to permit more troops on their soil when they are withdrawn from the present debacle of Iraq? If we have to leave Baghdad, it would be a top priority of this Administration to have another "zone" for the American troops? Is this a possible part of the Ports "deal"?

1. Zip, but the US regional military HQ is located in neighboring Qatar.

Used to be at Dhahran, SA, until the Saudis booted it out a couple years ago. Still a big US presence in Saudi, of course, but a lot of this has been turned over to private contractors.
