Who was the Best Press room guy
Every time I get the chance to watch a full WH press briefing I'm struck by how bad lil' Scotty is! He really really sucks. I don't mean to sound like actually care whether these guys actually do a better job t lying but simply as a person watching another person do a bad job it makes you wonder what the hell is going on. So who do you guys deem to be the best press guy in the last lets say 40 years? My vote George Stephanopolis.

1. Joe Lockhart
Tested under fire during Monicagate and more than held his own.

2. Press secretary goodness must be measured at breakfast.
You ask them every morning how they slept. If they sleep well, despite all the questions they can't get answers to for themselves, after all the lies that they are told to tell and, and after all the staying on the message when the message is patently stupid, then they are the Zen Masters of the Press Room.

3. I think Dee Dee Myers did a pretty good job, as well as Mike
McCurry. And ya know, even Ari Fleicher did a decent job. Sure they all "protected their boss, but that's their job!

Scotty is simply a candy a** who isn't willing to answer ANYTHING!

4. Joe Lockhart
Was excellent. I have have seen him as a pundit just a few times around the election. Wish he was on more as a spokesperson.

7. Well .... let's see ....... for scintillating, let's compare ......
........ oh .... I don't know ...... Dee Dee Myers to ...... uh .... Marlin Fitzwater?

Or compare Snotty Scotty to .... George Stephanopoulis.

But seriously .... for a good, solid job in a tough place, Mike McCurry and Joe Lockhart are simply unbeatable.
