and the candidates will have to go Houston and Atlanta to campaign for votes. The open primary is 22 April. The Times-Picayune says its a 23 candidate race to see who gets in the runoff with Ray Nagin.
And some good news from the Big Easy, the NBA Hornets play IN New Orleans this week and ticket sales for Saints Games are three times what they were last year. First home game scheduled 24 September.

1. Now that is a job I don't think I'd want. |

I think that it will be a thankless task.

the vast majority of that 24 no they have no shot. I'm wondering if one of the front runners just loaded up the ballot to make their chances better. It looks like Nagin, LT Governor Mitch Landrieu, the owner of the local AAA Baseball team and the director of the Audobon Zoo are the frontrunners. Clerk of Court Kimberly Williams, a political buffoon if there ever was one, is also running. I think she has an arrest warrant out for her. She has made FEMA look good the last couple of months.
I wouldn't want that job either. I love the city, but keep me far away from city hall.
