From the Carpetbagger Report:

DHS can't even get email right

Posted By Carpetbagger On 3rd March 2006 @ 10:03 In General | 13 Comments

I don't mean to sound picky, but after nearly four years, I kind of hoped the Department of Homeland Security would be further along than this.

Among other woes at Homeland Security, the inspector general's office says it can't widely distribute electronic announcements of new watchdog reports. A spokeswoman explains the department lacks capacity to create a mass email list, and "We don't have a fix at this point."

Former Inspector General Clark Kent Ervin calls circulating such information crucial.

Feel safer?

:wow: These folks can't even set up a mailing list. They're gonna secure ports?

1. I have a solution
Just borrow John Kerry's email list. Designate each of us with our own DHS officer to call when there is a new report. We'd be more than happy to offer our services to the Homeland.

(good god, what the fuck next, just how stupid are they)

3. NO NO it's not that simple, you have to pay thousands and.....
....then finance all those really secret programs. So the solution is buy the program for $39 and turn around and sell it to the government for no less than $10,000.00 and they will think they got a bargain. :sarcasm:

As a female, some people want me to trust my reproductive health and reproductive choices to government boobs like these?

They can't set up email, they can't prevent or react to attack warnings pre-9.11, there is no response from our mighty military on 9.11, they lie about WMDs, they out their own intell officers, they use humiliation and torture to secure bogus information from the tortured, and so on, but they CAN make choices about my body for me?

What a joke.
