I listened to limbaugh for five minutes today and learned
- that reform is a liberal code word
- that reform always leads to more government and less liberties. Was he referring to the potential loss of liberty of jackemoff, delay, frist etc? Or maybe he was referring to the liberty to doctor shop and abuse drugs; he wasnt' very clear.
- that liberals honor their losers. He talked about President Carter and Senator Daschle
- And, that President bush's approval numbers "appear" to be low. I recall President Clinton's numbering appearing to be quite high late in his second term.

So there you have it. You know what "conservatives" with radios will be repeating in the near future.

12. "But what do we really KNOW about cat no. 3?"
(Ominous music, voice over)

"Cat no. 3 SAYS he doesn't know who missed the litter box"

"But we know what happens when Cat No. 3 has been 'in the 'nip"

"He commits 'kittenish indiscretions'"

PAID FOR BY DUERS FOR CAT NO. 1

22. The ads tell you all you need to know about the listeners.....
Phony vitamin pills for the following problems......

Weight loss pills
Pills that stop balding
Pills that make the penis larger.
Pills that make the penis more erect.

Lots of problem credit assisting companies.

By these ads one might assume the listenership consits of fat, bald, flacid guys with small dicks and credit problems.

8. "that reform is a liberal code word?" Like "welfare reform?"
Seems to me reform is a code word that Republicans use for cutting some kind of program that benefits the poor and middle class.

I think I was screaming about half the time. His show is the exact opposite of the truth. Probably why he's losing listeners year after year.

13. Flip Flopping Drug Addled Fool
The bank scandal highlights the arrogance & condescension of members of Congress. It’s an outrage when members of Congress set up a system whereby they can spend money they don’t have. There are lots of people serving time in jails for what some members of Congress did with their House checking accounts.
The solution is to prosecute the ones in Congress who are guilty of serious crimes. told me that some members will probably face charges under the same statute that was used to convict people in the Iran-Contra scandal. It’s called “Conspiracy to Defraud the US Government.”

Now I know some of you believe the stories about how no taxpayer money was at risk in the House Bank. But that simply won’t wash. It was all taxpayer money. We pay them. And taxpayer money was used to operate the bank. So it is inaccurate to say that taxpayer money was not used to enable these members of Congress to accord themselves advantages unavailable to other citizens. It clearly was.

Congress should not exempt itself from laws
The biggest scandal on Capitol Hill is the list of laws that Congress routinely exempts itself from. Every other American has to obey them, but not Congress. They include:

The Social Security Act of 1935
The National Labor Relations Act of 193
The Equal Pay Act of 1963
The Civil Rights Act of 1964
The Freedom of Information Act of 1966
The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970
The Privacy Act of 1974
The Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (no surprise there).
And the list goes on and on. If any person running a business were to run afoul of any of the above laws you can bet he would be hauled into court pronto. But the authors of those laws have nothing to worry about. There is nothing anyone can do about a congressional violation of those laws, save for taking it to the lapdog Ethics Committee. This only breeds contempt for Congress among the public. It says to the average person that Congress considers itself above the law.

14. You forgot McCain is a loser.
Rush is, for some reason, SCARED of McCain.

He spent most of his time when I listened trying to convince everyone that McCain was a BAD BAD man.

McCain is begrudgingly being given an extra point for scaring the Oxycontin Man.

mccain is an extremely conservative politician. Which makes him bad in my book.

Not sure why oxyman is scared of him but don't really care.

23. McCain once said
Back in the late 90's that Rush Limbaugh was the "best thing" to ever happen to the republican party. Guess that praise doesn't work both ways. I've never trusted McCain after reading he said that.

Edited on Mon Mar-13-06 03:22 PM by Mountainman
If anyone still believes everything he says, they are too beyond hope to salvage. They are the 34% kool aid freeper crowd and they will always look to someone to tell them what to think and how to vote against their own best interests. Most of the country gets it by now.
