Adding to the DU lexicon-ABC |

"AnythingButClinton"
This is seems to have been the prevalent ideal at the beginning of the Bush administration. If the Bill Clinton (or the "Clintonistas" )supported it, promoted it, or signed it IT had to be disregarded, ignored, or reversed IMMEDIATELY.
Examples follow below but it is my opinion that as people slowing start really looking into HOW 9/11 happened this will become more and more evident.
EXAMPLES of ABC
The 10 YEAR ergonomics study commissioned by HHS head Elizabeth Dole in Poppa Bush's administration-enacted by Clinton-immediately reversed by Cheney excuse me the Bush administration.
The Public Land Use issue that resulted in 10 MILLION opinions being offered via actual town hall meetings, virtual town hall meetings, emails, and phone calls. Put in place as Clinton left office. Immediately reversed by Cheney. BTW this was a funny one as the logging and paper companies started showing up to the town hall meetings with their suits and were told off by what I like to call "Bubbas to Birkenstocks" so they sat back and claimed this was some great surprise by Clinton as he left office.
Richard Clark's book clearly shows that everything they were working on was completely ignored as soon as W&Co. got into office.
O'Neill's book says basically the same thing although he was at an international meeting to stifle terrorist funding and money transactions on 9/11 and watched the towers fall on a big screen outside (somewhere in Europe, forget where). First Nat.Security meeting they brought in photos of IRaq and a WMD lab.
Hell this "Able Danger" thing was suddenly ended in February 2001. The LIHOP and MIHOP ers say it was part of the conspiracy but I think it was stained with Clinton in their eyes sop they ended it.
They reversed the Coal for bombs plan with No.Korea (AND reversed 50 years of US foreign policy-keep the military threat on the table).
And on and on and on. ANYTHING Clinton did had to be wrong.
ABC.

submarine nuclear fuel rods and other nuclear components....One of the first cuts of money was to this program....this error may have allowed these nuclear componants out on the black market.
Clinton had worked diligently on this program....

IT was like they thought nothing had changed in 8 years and they could just come back in with their old agenda.
Gee were there big changes in the world from 1993-2001???

5. And, then there was that awful Clinton budget surplus - had to go! |
|
Sweep that out with the same big broom. Created so many lovely new T-bills for the Repo Market. Lovely things, hedge funds, which did miserably during the Clinton years.
