8. Red states still have the illusion

that the Repubs will be able to deliver on prosperity and national security. It is Nixon's "Southern Strategy" which is obviously effective because the GOP is still using it, and using it well.

However, I have a feeling that a good number of Southerners are a part of Chimp's disapproval rate. Think about the Mississippian that managed to say on CNN: "Go fuck yourself, Mr. Cheney." post Katrina.

If we could get them thinking about why they so often vote against their own interests, then that would be a productive strategy.
