President Bush Job Approval

Monday April 17, 2006--For the second straight day, 39% of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That's the lowest level of approval ever measured by Rasmussen Reports.

Sixty percent (60%) disapprove of Bush's job performance, including 44% who Strongly Disapprove.

The President earns approval from 49% of entrepreneurs, 70% of Republicans, 16% of Democrats, and 26% of those not affiliated with either major political party.

Rasmussen usually reports a higher Bush approval rating than other polls. The Real Clear Politics average is currently 37.7%.

But the points I want to make are, this is the lowest so far with Rasmussen, and that 'Strongly Disapprove' percentage is important.

The Dixiecrats. I live in KY, and there are apparently more registered democrats here than republicans, but yet the state is heavily republican. There are a lot of folks around here who register as Democrats so they can vote for who they percieve to be the weakest democratic candidate, and then vote rethuglican when it counts.
