That's all his base needs to know. Only liberals would think otherwise. What a fine job of encouraging Americans he did today. I can't wait for tomorrow's pep talk.

1. The disconnect in this guy is beyond belief. And certainly beyond
reasonable scrutiny.

and you'll get your bibles and guns confiscated, 100% taxes, and gays will be allowed to marry. Oh, and Osama will be made secretary of defense....so stop bitching about my screw ups and be glad yur an Murkin!!!

That's pretty much it for his voting group and it works because they are exceedingly stupid and ill informed.

4. I got a flash from you post, Jacobin, of Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy,
Barbara Boxer, Barney Frank, and other Democratic lawmakers, as armed gangs, bursting into folks' homes in the dead of night to ransack the place of guns and bibles, the red-voter families quivering in horror behind the sofa, etc.

7. "Conservatives" have been so oppressed and persecuted
for the past six years with all the power the liberals in congress have had. Its appalling. And the liberals have screwed up everything from Iraq to the gaspump to haranquing good men like delay and abramoff.

8. The blame-the-liberals machine is always well-oiled in Bush circles.
Never moreso than with the Swiftboat liars.

And with times getting worse in this country and already a disaster in Iraq, I have a feeling we haven't seen the end of the barrage.

There are a lot of mean-spirited folks running GOP politics these days.

3. So PROVE IT AH! Park the SUV caravan you run around in
all the time, and put AF1 in it's hanger...for the next 6 months!

I remember Jimmy Carter asking everyone to turn down the thermostat and wear a sweater, and HE was the first to do it in the WH!

So You Shrub, need to set the damn tone here. Just how much are you willing to back up your words with actions????

6. Bush, sacrifice?
Don't hold your breath. All he cares about is his oil buddies getting richer. He probably doesn't even understand that AF1 runs on oil. "Aye thought it ran on jets"
