AP: Giuliani to Help Ga. Hopeful's Fundraising (Ralph Reed)
Giuliani to Help Ga. Hopeful's Fundraising

ATLANTA, Apr. 18, 2006
(AP) Just days after a religious conservative questioned Rudolph Giuliani's views,
ex-Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed said the former New York City mayor will
headline a fundraiser for him next month.

Reed is running for lieutenant governor in Georgia. His campaign has been undercut
by his ties to disgraced former lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who is facing prison time
after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy, tax evasion and fraud.

The Reed campaign trumpeted the appearance with Giuliani, distributing an invitation
on Tuesday which featured a smiling photo of the two men together.

The appearance with Reed could help Giuliani reach out to religious conservatives
who would be critical in a GOP primary.

1. Good, I hope it turns around and bites all of them in the ass...
I'd pay good money to see that happen.

2. Wouldn't it be great if Reed and Santorum both lost hard?

Think Jerry Kilgore's loss after letting the Shrubmonkey campain for him only worse.

I can't stand Giuliani. I see him as nothing more than an opportunist fraud who has exploited 9/11 to prop up his political career. Fuck him.

He and McCain both deserve a swift kick in the ass. I can't believe these two dolts are considered the frontrunners.

4. I used to think that Guiliani didn't stand a chance as a Republican in a
national race. He was a Democrat originally, but when he lost to African American David Dinkins in the NYC mayoralty race, he became an instant racist Republican.

Guiliani ran NYC in a Hitleresque manner and when he left office, he was the first former mayor to take all of his papers with him so that researchers could not check his lies and racist behaviors.

It's so funny that the Republicans are supposed to be so religious and have such high morals, yet they are welcoming a man, (Guiliani) whose first wife was his own cousin. They call that incest where I come from.

He has been married three times and yet he is still honored by the Catholic Church while Kerry was castigated by that same group.

When I see Republicans welcoming Giuliani with such open arms, I know for sure that the GOP "ain't shit" because all they while they accuse the Democrats of liberal values, they demonstrate perverted values.

I rank Giuliani with Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity and the rest of the Republican filth and garbage.

5. Cuddling up
to a soon to be indicted "religious" taliborgian, good! I really can't stand the myth that ghouliani and mccain are good guys and counter it with facts whenever possible. They are evil and complete frauds, spread the word!

7. Well, if THIS doesn't prove to folks that Giuliani is a criminal, nothing
will. He's part of the conspiracy by the GOP to destroy our country and was integral to 9-11.
