Porter Goss resigning is going to blow the Patrick Kennedy story off the
front pages and the weekend shows. And better get out of the way of the shit storm if it turns out that this is the first casualty of Hookergate (Don't you love the sound of that? Rolls right off the tongue, so to speak).

8. We shall see. Anyway - you heard it here first. Drunk congressman
stories - even a Kennedy - are a dime a dozen, particularly if the congressman admits he has a problem and gets treatment. An unexplained resignation of a newly appointed CIA Director with open speculation about hookers - now that is something else. IMO this is potentially a story that could resonate right into the fall elections.

10. especially because there's been no reason given
for his departure. And no replacement ready. Too much of this just seems to have caught the Bots off guard ... and their stenographers haven't been told how to spin it, so they're all speculating.

11. First Card, then DeLay, then McClellan, and now Goss.

This is making me think of that Simpsons Halloween episode when the machines started attacking people like in Stephen King's Maximum Overdrive. At first, everything shut down on Y2K. Then airplanes started dropping out of the sky one by one. And then the machines powered back up and went on a rampage. These Bush administration officials remind me of the airplanes.

:)
